“ I worry sometimes I can almost physically see the dumbing down of society happening because people are just not willing to challenge each other. I mean, I am so invigorated by seeing a kid sit down and read a 900-page Harry Potter book. You could see people completely saying, ‘Oh, don’t even try that because it’s 900 pages. Don’t even try that because the words are too big.’ And I think, ‘God, how many things are we just shutting off because we assume it’s too much? Or too difficult?’ You’ve just got to make it that good. You’ve got to make it so good that people want to conquer whatever limitations seem to be there.
